Malin + Improv

Malin is an experienced long-form improv coach and performer who was on house teams at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and Los Angeles for over a decade, before moving to Dublin last year.

She loves to coach all levels — from beginners practicing basic scene work to experienced teams hoping to bring their shows to the next level. She is well-versed in many forms (the Harold, Monoscene, La Ronde, Spokane, Slacker, Three-Hander, Armando, to name a few) and also enjoys working with groups to develop their own.

Malin has been coached and taught by Will Hines, Craig Cackowski, Lydia Hensler, Jordan Klepper, Anthony Atamanuik, Shannon O’Neill, Brandon Scott Jones, and many more. She’s performed at the Del Close Marathon, San Francisco Sketchfest, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and SteelStacks Improv Comedy Festival. She’s appeared on the improv podcasts improv4humans and Man Dog Pod, and she’s the co-host of Riding Around — an improvised weekly recap podcast for the beloved, fictional 2000s sitcom of the same name, which has featured guests such as Brennan Lee Mulligan, Patti Harrison, Zach Cherry, Alyssa Limperis, and more.

Malin also edited Will Hines’ improv book, How To Be The Greatest Improviser On Earth. (She was a book editor in a previous life.)
